Hey, figured this will need a topic once Dead Sara is "the next biggest rock band in the world." (Grohl, D. 2013):

There are a bunch of songs from Original Sessions (?) , recorded with Viscount Productions in 2006. These songs are Innuendo, At Seven, Changes, Mama Told Me, and Maggie. In addition I was able to scour the internet and find Pretty Ugly.

So I just posted stuff on YouTube that was previously nebulous on the interwebs and in IRL. I posted just one link below for space's sake, but all are available on the same channel, all posted April 1st, 2014, and are posted one after the other:

The channel link is K. Shepard

If you guys are able to track down "Sunset" or "24 Hours" which I believe have no studio recordings, let me know. There is a slim chance they do have studio versions because they were performed often with Pretty Ugly in conjunction with Original Sessions songs back pre-2008. Both of those songs are available (live versions, poor audio) on YouTube as well. If they get taken down let me know, I have backups.

A studio version of "Fish Out of Water" from 2008 is also available:

Finally, someone on flickr has taken it upon themselves to compile all possible information on releases:

Dead Sara flickr compiled release info

There are no media files there, to stream or otherwise however. Just info.

Dead Sara have also been playing about a half dozen new songs from 2013 on, but these are likely to end up on the new album so I wont bother linking them, but they are uploaded on YouTube several times over at different live venues.

The Airport Sessions EP and Dead Sara (LP) are available easily on iTunes, Amazon, etc. so I wont bother leading you there.

PLEASE dont hesitate to message me with questions, new/rare tracks, etc.

wow! there is more material here than I realized. I'll have to take a day and work on updating my collection. thanks for the compilation of info and links.

p.s. I think some people misinterpret the Dave Grohl quote. He said they *should* be the next big rock band. not that they ever *will*. sort of like saying Pussy Riot *should* receive a personal pardon from V. Putin. They should.. but will it ever happen? ... well, you your guess is as good as mine. my guess is probably not. Dave Grohl was in a band in a time and place when the world was ready for that sound. I'm not sure it's like that any more. which is good for me, because I enjoy seeing my favorite bands in intimate venues.

Wow indeed! I really enjoyed listening to this. Thank you for uploading those songs, I have been searching for the studio versions for some time but they have been removed from MySpace so I thought I'll never find them. Good luck with finding other rare music, it's really nice to hear it.  Smile
